Turkish Muse is a personal blog. Therefore, it reflects my personal views, and not the views of my employer(s), husband, cats or neighbors.
Comments on Turkish Muse are actively encouraged! This site is a forum for people wanting to live in or already living in Turkey, so let's share what we know.
In an effort to keep commenting as easy as possible, I do not moderate comments before they are published. I do, however, read each and every comment posted to Turkish Muse.
To make sure that we're all on the same page regarding comments, consider this the official Turkish Muse Comment Policy:
I love comments on Turkish Muse. I love reading what you guys have to say and I love getting your input and suggestions about life in Turkey. Always feel free to ask questions or let your opinions known on Turkish Muse.
Dissenting points of view are always allowed. If you've got something to say that goes against the status quo, then by all means, say it! Just be respectful of other readers -- no flaming, no insults, no meanness -- or you will be promptly moderated and/or deleted.
No spam allowed. TypePad does a pretty good job at keeping spam at bay, but if any does slip through, I will delete it. If you write that your name is "small chest freezers", that your website is www.smallchestfreezers.com and your email is infoandsales@smallchestfreezers, that counts as spam and I'm deleting your comments and blocking you from commenting again.
Email addresses are required for commenting. Your email address will not be published on the blog or shared in any way. I may use it to contact you privately, however, if you say something particularly witty.
I do not edit or otherwise change your comments. All grammatical mistakes, misguided notions and incorrect information are all on you. Other commentators, however, may feel free to point these out (politely, of course).
I reserve the right to delete any comment that does not adhere to the Turkish Muse comments policy. I am also not responsible for any comments, legally or otherwise, for any comments left on this blog. That means that by submitting a comment on this site, you agree that the comment content is your own and you hold Turkish Muse harmless from any and all repercussions, damages or liabilities.
Now go forth and say something.
