Today I'm turning the tables a bit and offering you all a chance to have your say on this here Turkish Muse. In just over a week, Jeff and I are off to Paris to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and instead of leaving you all high and dry for a week, I thought I would let you guys share your thoughts.
I'm looking for guest posts describing your favorite thing about Turkey, which I will publish during the week we're in France. I'm keeping this entirely open-ended; the reason I'm using the word "thing" is so that you can choose anything at all you want, whether it's a particular food, street, place, cultural trait or person.
Submissions should be 250-300 words and should have an accompanying photo. If you're a blogger or have a website, I'm happy to include a link to it and a short bio of yourself.
So, if you live here in Turkey now or have visited before, try to narrow your list of great things about Turkey to your absolute favorite, then write about it and email me your essay! I'll collect your posts up until May 18th or so in order to edit them and get them ready for publishing.
